Some projects feel extra special, and this was one of them. I’ve had the privilege of working with Annie DiVello for years, first when she owned Annie DiVello Consulting and later as her business evolved into Our Brave Voices—a practice dedicated to supporting children, families, and schools in navigating Selective Mutism (SM).
As her impact grew, Annie knew it was time for her brand, logo, and website to reflect the depth of her work and the bold mission she stands behind: ending the silence for children with SM.
So, we set out on a journey to create a visual identity and online presence that would truly match her expertise, passion, and the warmth she brings to her work.
The Challenge: A New Name, A New Brand, A New Look
Annie had outgrown her original branding and website. She needed:
- A new logo and brand identity that would capture the courage, empathy, and transformation she and her team brings to their clients.
- A website refresh that clearly communicates what they does, who they help, and the impact of their services.
- A cohesive and polished online presence that would build trust and credibility with families and school teams seeking support.
Most importantly, she wanted a brand that felt just as personal, approachable, and powerful as the work they do.
The Approach: Designing a Brand That Speaks Volumes
Creating Our Brave Voices meant building a brand that embodies courage, hope, and growth. Here’s how we brought it to life:
1. A Logo That Represents Strength & Transformation
Annie and her team’s work is all about helping children find their voices, and we wanted the logo to reflect that transformation. We incorporated:
- A thoughtful color palette to convey warmth, safety, and confidence.
- A design that symbolizes communication, bravery, and progress.
- A look that is professional yet inviting and approachable.
The result? A modern, meaningful, and empowering logo that Annie loves just as much as her original one!
2. A Website That Tells the Right Story
The new Our Brave Voices website needed to do more than just look good… it needed to:
- Make it easy for families and schools to find the support they need.
- Highlight Annie and her team’s deep expertise and credentials in the field of Selective Mutism.
- Showcase clear service offerings, from school consultations to treatment for families.
- Feel calm, encouraging, and uplifting—a reflection of the experience they provide.
The website now serves as a resource hub for parents, educators, and professionals, offering valuable insights into Selective Mutism and how their services can help.
3. A Cohesive Brand Experience
Branding isn’t just about a logo or website… it’s about creating a consistent and recognizable presence across all touchpoints. To bring Annie’s vision to life, we also:
- Ensured consistency across her website, social media, and marketing materials.
- Used imagery and language that aligns with her mission to help families and school teams.
- Created a polished, professional, and inspiring presence that reflects her expertise and passion.
The Results: A Brand & Website That Reflects the Mission
With a new name, a new brand, and a new website, Annie and Our Brave Voices now have an online presence that:
- Clearly communicates her mission and expertise.
- Engages and educates families, educators, and professionals.
- Feels true to their personality, values, and vision.
- Positions Annie and her team as a leading voice in the field of Selective Mutism treatment.
And most importantly—it gives their audience a place to find hope, guidance, and the support they need.
