That’s why I do custom proposals for all project inquiries. Depending on your needs, it might include:

What to Expect
Just like my proposals are custom made, working with me is also a highly personalized process.
Rather than starting our relationship by expecting you to fit into a rigid process, I prefer to learn more about how you work and communicate. Once we settle on a process and timeline that works for us both, we’ll jump right in and keep lines of communication open so that we’re both getting what we need.
While my process is fluid, I do have a general framework that will give you a sense of how things will go:
Discover
Through an intake process and kickoff call, I’ll get the key information I need about your brand and business … and then get to work!
Due Diligence
This part is all behind-the-scenes research that makes my inner nerd VERY happy. I’ll look into your competitors, market, and client profile to make sure that the psychology behind your brand colors, fonts, and site structure match your goals!
Design
Specific deliverables will vary, but always start with a design concept for you to review. Once you feel good about the overall direction, I’ll fully design the elements of your project.
Deliberate
I’ll send along a complete project for your review. I encourage my clients to get feedback from a small, trusted group – and then we’ll go back and forth (via email or on Zoom) to determine any final tweaks.
Debut
It’s showtime! Not only will you have a stellar product to share with the world, but you’ll also have the training and resources to maintain on your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take to complete my project?
Most projects can be completed within 4 weeks – but larger projects can take closer to 6 weeks. Our progress also depends on how quickly you’re able to review concepts and revisions and provide feedback.
How quickly can you start?
At times I book out a month or two in advance, so please reach out as soon as you know you might be ready to work with a designer!
What should I expect to spend?
Website design projects start at $2,400 for a landing page and $4,700 for a custom-designed site. Visual branding projects (including logo design) start at $1,600.
Do you design e-commerce websites?
Yes! Not only do I design them, I make sure that e-commerce sites work to the fullest of their capabilities – connecting with your POS and supporting inventory management. I’ve worked with Shopify, Wix, and WordPress platforms.
Do you only design in WordPress?
Yes, WordPress is the only platform I work on. It’s my fave for a number of reasons, including flexibility, scalability, security, and SEO-friendly just to name a few!
Will you work with my existing website, or do you only design websites from scratch?
I only design websites from scratch. It’s impossible to know exactly what your last web designer and developer put into place and can end up being like opening a can of worms to try and make any significant changes/updates.
Do you have a team that works with you?
LD Creative Designs is a one-woman operation, but I do have a phenomenal network of trusted providers who I regularly partner with. If it makes sense to incorporate more services into your project, I’ll match you with the right ones and provide overall creative direction.
Do you have an hourly rate?
I work on a project basis and charge a flat fee. I find it’s easier for everyone and there are no surprises on the final invoice! But if we’ve worked together previously and you just need some quick updates to your website or design file, I offer an hourly rate for those sorts of needs.
